‘Fins-Cowboys: What to Watch For

The Dolphins will round up their preseason on Thursday night against Dallas.  It’s been an up and down set of games for the Dolphins in these exhibitions, but we’ve certainly seen some potential from a young team like this.  Thought it remains to be seen how much the starters will play, there is still plenty to watch for in Thursday’s contest.

Offense Sluggish in Loss to Atlanta

For however many steps forward Miami’s offense took in their win at Jacksonville last week, they took at least a step back in Friday’s 16-6 loss to the Falcons.

‘Fins VS

The second edition of Dolphins VS. puts the spotlight on the New England Patriots.  The Patriots missed out on the playoffs in 2008, when Miami beat them out for that spot out of the AFC East, but the Pats, as they’ve done so much under Bill Belichek, found themselves right back in the postseason in 2009, despite getting steamrolled by Baltimore.  Do the Dolphins have what it takes to keep up with their rivals from New England?

‘Fins Offense Shows Efficiency in Win Over Jags

In case you couldn’t hear it over Albert Haynesworth’s mouth this weekend, there was football being played.  I voiced my rather obnoxious opinion on how much stock I put in the preseason after the Dolphin’s win over Tampa Bay, but it’s hard not to be excited after their win in Jacksonville on Saturday night.

Dolphins Notes (Completely Unrelated to Football)

I don’t do this very often, or ever, but there is surprisingly little to write about after the Dolphins’ first preseason game, outside of Brandon Marshall’s tantrum.  That’s why, to hold you over until this weekend’s contest against Jacksonville, I’m providing some entertainment notes coming out of Miami.

Dolphins-Bucs: Impressions from Saturday

After reading some Bears headlines from their first preseason game, I thought it was comical the way the media depicts these games.  The Dolphins site got it right, with a completely neutral headline.  ”Dolphins Pull Out 10-7 Win Over Buccaneers in Preseason Opener”.  What else is there to report?  Sure, the offense looked lackluster and only put 10 points on the board.  It was also the first preseason game and on less than stellar field conditions.
